THAT the Minutes of following Meetings of Regional Council be confirmed: Regular Meeting of Regional Council No. 1 7 -23 held Wednesday, July 15 , 2023 Council Workshop – Bus Tour held Wednesday, September 13, 2023

THAT all memoranda, correspondence and information included in the Agenda and Meeting Cycle Addenda for the Council Meeting held Wednesday, September 20, 2023 and distributed at the meeting be received for information , including: Memorandum from the Commissioner of Public Works re: Integrated Master Plan Update Memorandum from the Commissioner of Public Works re: Notice of Public Information Centre #1 – Regional Road 25 Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study from Speers Road to Derry Road (Regional Road 7), Town of Oakville and Town of Milton, Our Files: PR-3379A and PR-3392A Memorandum from the Commissioner of Social and Community Services re: Halton Region Community Investment Fund Intake for 2024 Funding Memorandum from the Commissioner of Digital and Information Services: United Way Campaign Kick-Off BBQ Memorandum from the Chief Administrative Officer re: Commemorating the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

THAT all reports in the agenda and Meeting Cycle Addenda for the Council Meeting of Wednesday, September 20 , 2023 be introduced for consideration.

THAT all reports in the Health and Social Services portion of the agenda be approved as presented .

THAT all reports in the Planning and Public Works portion of the agenda be approved as presented.

THAT the Rules of Procedure be waived to introduce and consider Report No. CA-06-23 – Updates on Recent Provincial Announcements and Initiatives.

THAT Report No. LPS67-23 - Property Matter, City of Burlington and Town of Oakville (R2671B and R2672B )( CONFIDENTIAL) be approved as presented.

THAT all remaining items in the Administration and Finance portion of the agenda excepting LPS67-23 be approved as presented.

THAT the Motion be amended by inserting the words “Federal and” ahead of “Provincial investment ” in paragraph 7 of the recitals, and; THAT a copy of the resolution be forwarded to the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, and the Honourable Jenna Sudds , Minister of Families, Children, and Social Development , for their information.

THAT the following By-laws be now READ, PASSED, SIGNED by the Regional Chair and Clerk, the Corporate Seal affixed thereto and numbered as follows: By-law No. 52-23 – A by-law to amend By-law No. 1984-1, as amended, being a by-law to regulate traffic and parking on highways under the jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Halton. Reference: Report PW-36-23, Regional Council, September 20, 2023. By-law No. 53-23 – A by-law to approve the expropriation of all right, title and interest (fee simple), limited interests in perpetuity (permanent easements) and 3-year temporary limited interests (temporary easements) in the City of Burlington and the Town of Oakville, in the Regional Municipality of Halton, as more particularly described in Schedule "A" to this by-law. THAT By-law No. 54-23 be now READ, PASSED, SIGNED by the Regional Chair and Clerk, the Corporate Seal affixed thereto and numbered as follows: By-Law No. 54-23 - A by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council Meeting held Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

THAT Council does now adjourn to meet again on Wednesday, October 11 , 2023 at 9:30 a.m. or at the call of the Regional Chair.
