Regional Council

THAT the Minutes of Regular Meeting of Regional Council No. 13-21 held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 be confirmed.

THAT all memoranda, correspondence and information included in the Agenda for the Council Meeting held Wednesday, November 17 , 2021 and distributed at the meeting be received for information , including: Memorandum from the Commissioner, Finance and Regional Treasurer re: 2022 Budget Process

THAT the Rules of Procedure be waived to introduce and consider a Notice of Motion from Mayor Rob Burton and Councillor Sean O’Meara r e: Affordable Childcare for Halton Families .

THAT Council resolve into closed session as the subject matte rs being considered relates to personal matters about identifiable individua ls, including Regional employees.

THAT Council move out of closed session.

THAT staff be directed to take the action discussed in closed session.

THAT the Rules of Procedure be waived to introduce and consider a by-law relating to the appointment of personnel for the Regional Municipality of Halton.

THAT By-law No. 45-21 as presented, be now READ, PASSED, SIGNED by the Regional Chair and Clerk, the Corporate Seal affixed thereto and numbered as follows: By-law No. 4 5 -21 - A by-law to provide for the appointment of a S tatutory O fficer for T he R egional M unicipality of H alton and to repeal B y-law N os. 45-20 and 46-20.

THAT By-law No. 46-21 be now READ, PASSED, SIGNED by the Regional Chair and Clerk, the Corporate Seal affixed thereto and numbered as follows: By-Law No. 46-21 - A by-law to confirm the proceedings of this Council Meeting held Wednesday, November 17, 2021.

THAT Council does now adjourn this meeting.
